“Just to say a big thanks to physio dept at Wishaw General especially Nasir & Fiona who treated my injured knee, I’m now about 95% back to normal, I don’t think I’ll ever be 100% because of my age but I feel great thanks to the advice and exercises they gave me.”

“ I am an Amputee and need Ambulance Transport to get to Wishaw General Hospital for my Physio which is only an hour twice a week and I am always late getting there with the ambulance. I need a 2 man Crew to help me out the House and I got two staff one day and they came in and said we can’t lift you we need 4 man crew to lift you so they Radio through and the Controller said that by the time they come to help you I will be late, so the Ambulance just drove away. No one came in to me to tell me what was going on so I was left and didn’t get for my Physio that day. I was really Angry and so were the staff at Physio. I have great people looking after me in the Physio Department at Wishaw General Hospital. Nicola, Angie, Naz, Anne, all the staff are great, its just the Ambulance Transport Side of it that lets me down. If I don’t complain it will never get fixed so I will leave it with you and Hopefully it will get sorted out thank you.”

PT Nasir, OT Kyran and HCSW Ian, who are physiotherapists at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, provided excellent care and support to my wife with her physical rehabilitation in June 2022 to help her regain and continue to improve her mobility after a long period of convalescence following a brain trauma.
My wife commented that PT Nasir and his colleagues were consistently supportive and always positive during her physiotherapy sessions and gave her appropriate encouragement and confidence to get active again and push herself to regain her strength and mobility.
